Spring 2020

Charcoal, ink and acrylic. This drawing is about the enduring power of nature. I drew it in response to the strange disconnect I felt between what has been going on in the world and the breathtaking beauty of spring. Throughout everything nature goes about it's business undeterred. I don't think the blossoms have ever been so wonderful as they have been this spring, and I don't think we have ever needed them more.
