Staithes Art

Winter in Staithes under a starry sky. This former fishing village on the North Yorkshire Coast is part of the Cleveland Way. Although the inhabitants and their occupations have changed over the years, there is something timeless about the stone houses and narrow streets which have remained unchanged over the years. A blanket of snow brings a feeling of peace to the village, and a sense of simplicity away from the modern world. My ‘Staithes Under Snow’ fine art print is taken from an original hand coloured etching.
