The view from a field looking down onto the village of Hayfield in Derbyshire. Twenty tree can be seen on the right, Lantern Pike and New Mills beyond, and Manchester in the far distance. There are buttercups and thistles in the field, and a wheatear on the drystone wall in the foreground. This piece was a commission, and drawn in memory of someone special.
