New Mills Carnival Day etching. 'Union Road Bridge' an original hand coloured etching. Carnival day in a Northern mill town. Two local brass bands are playing together as they cross the bridge that spans the Torrs in the town of New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire. The Billerettes dancing troupe follow the procession past The Pride of The Peaks pub and up to the carnival field. Hand inked and printed by myself at The Hot Bed Press in Salford. Each piece is an original print with slight variations due to the hand inking and printing process. This etching is part of my New Mills Art and Derbyshire Art print collections.
